Me, you ask?
Hey! I’m Maxine. I can’t promise a thrilling life story but I do have a unique-ish name, so that’s pretty cool.
I’m fixated on satisfyingly smart and well-crafted design. Good design, or even plain old good aesthetics, simply make the world better. Things make more sense. They’re more purposeful, user friendly, efficient, and gratifying. It’s a worthy cause, and I’m all in.
Even as an alum of the School of Visual Arts in NYC, my rustic NJ heritage proved inescapable. I’m based in Jersey City, which grants me the uncanny ability to keep a firm foot on both land masses at the same time.
What else? I dig good documentaries, figure drawing, old Nintendo games, making and eating fancy breakfasts, cleaning stuff while blasting folk metal, and other eclectic verbs.
